Start by going to https://dashboard.walletguard.app/ here you can scan your wallet to see your "Security Score" and the health of your wallet (How vulnerable you are to various attack vectors).
The extension itself is very helpful for avoiding scams, it will simulate all transactions prompted for you and tell you what is happening before you sign.
They have also added some new features including a "Soft Locking" feature. In the dashboard you can now lock any asset you own. After locking an asset in the Security Dashboard, Wallet Guard will prevent you from sending, listing, or giving approvals to the locked asset.
Before soft locking it will require you to revoke all existing approvals.
